iPad to be one device that is very comfortable to use for ebook reading, browsing the website, as well as for several other mobile multimedia functions. I would like to discuss about the reading on the iPad.

Apple’s official application for the read function is Newsstand andiBooks. Newsstand for magazines / publications subscribe, and iBooks for books in general. Both have an online store services are directly connected in the application. So to get a book or magazine is very easy. Than through an online store,we can use iTunes to add the collection to the iBooks. The file format which can be read is PDF and pub.

The initial view of the two applications is similar. Showing items that we buy /download.

While the display when the second reading of this application has a different look. iBooks gives the appearance as the real book. While Newsstand looks simple, just one page only.

Read magazines TRVL on Newsstand

The experience of reading the iPad, in my opinion is more comfortable in portrait position. iPad becomes easier to handle. While the landscape position comfortable for typing, as well as gaming.

Multitouch gesture is refers to combination of a multipoint touch on touchscreen device to perform action. Multitouch gesture is available on Apple OS(Mac OS and iOS), Blackberry OS, Android and another operating system.

iOS5 is providing native support to multitouch gesture or multitasking gesture. We can easily enable it on Settings.
